The Takanawa Gateway Station, located between Tamachi and Shinagawa on the Yamanote Line, was built in anticipation of inbound travelers for the Tokyo Olympics.
Takanawa Gateway Station has three basement floors and one floor above ground.
The station is equipped with new facilities, such as artificial intelligence-equipped information robots, automatic ticket gates using QR codes, and an unmanned convenience store.
The station building is also equipped with the latest automatic dimming and color control systems, giving it a stylish and attractive atmosphere.
