September 8 2-1-30 Kitakawaramachi, Sakai Ward, Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture A sacred place that connects Kobukuro with their fans. A takeout specialty store filled with passion Kobukuro will celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2024. The store "September 8" was opened by member Shunsuke Kuroda, expressing gratitude to fans and giving back to his hometown of Sakai. Located in Sakai Ginza Shopping Street. This is precisely the place where the duo sang during their street days. The store name is derived from their formation anniversary, and inside, there is a space featuring artwork from their album "QUARTER CENTURY," released to commemorate the 25th anniversary, making it a must-visit "sacred place" for fans. The main menu item is the exquisite "Yakiniku Sandwich," created in collaboration with the extremely popular Sakai restaurant "Yakiniku Osamu-chan" and the long-established "Tezukayama Poire," founded in 1969. Tender meat grilled to perfection is coated with a secret sauce and sandwiched between soft "Takumi Bread". Kuroda himself participated in creating the menu, perfecting the flavor through trial and error. You can also choose a spicy version if you like, and there will be limited-time toppings available as well. Additionally, the coffee is made from carefully selected beans, so it's a great idea to enjoy it as a set.

In late autumn 2023, I decided to visit Minoh Falls. I thought it would be a short walk, but I found it was farther from the nearest station than I expected, making the walk a bit challenging. However, walking while enjoying the colorful autumn leaves under the clear blue sky was refreshing and lifted my spirits. When I finally reached the falls, I was even able to see a rainbow, making it an unforgettable and wonderful experience.

Yabusame (traditional Japanese mounted archery) at Kippo Hachiman Shrine in Kamogawa City Date: Sunday, September 27th, 2023, around 3:30 PM Location: Nakano, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture Parking is available at Nagasa Gakuen and Kokuhobyo Hospital. Expect congestion, so please arrive with plenty of time to spare. The "Yabusame of Kippo Hachiman" is held annually on the last Sunday of September as part of the festival of Hachiman Shrine in the Kippō district, conducted in a traditional manner as a sacred ritual. According to shrine tradition, it dates back to the mid-Kamakura period. Riders gallop along a 210-meter course and shoot arrows at three targets, repeating this three times. A notable feature is the distance to the targets. The primary purpose of the event is to pray for a bountiful harvest and to predict the success or failure of crops. It is believed that the omens from the heavens (divine messages) are conveyed not just by hitting the target but also by the outcome of the arrows, making misses significant as well. The archers (negi) are required to purify themselves through a week of ascetic practices.
