It is a beach called Omotehama (Gaijinhama) in the coastal towns "Shichigahama Towns" facing the Pacific Ocean in Miyagi Prefecture.
In the Meiji era, an American doctor living in Sendai found it as a place to recuperate his sick wife, and it was developed as a summer resort by American missionaries.

Sendai Tanabata Festival taken at night
The decoration in the photo is decorated with 78,000 origami cranes made by children from elementary and junior high schools in the city with the hope of reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake

The photo shows an event called "Taiwan Lantern Festival SENDAI2024", which is held in a complex facilities called "Aqua Ignis Sendai".
About 400 lanterns were displayed to express gratitude to Taiwan for its great support in the Great East Japan Earthquake and to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the opening of Tainan City.

The "Yamamoto and Sunflower Festival" in Yamamoto Towns, Watari-gun, Miyagi Prefecture was held in from July 19~28.
Approximately 2.8 million sunflowers bloomed on a vast area of farmland of about 7.6 hectares.
