As the Abandoned railway lines of the Nemuro Main Line [Shintoku ⇔ Furano] approaches, the number of customers is increasing at Shintoku Station. I looked at the photos of the "Thank You Nemuro Main Line Panel Exhibition" that has been held at the station since the beginning of this month, and at the waiting seat next to the customers who were taking pictures, there were customers eating ekiben made at restaurants in the town. When I asked the staff at the shop "Stellar Station" in the station that sells it, they said that they sell "Shintoku Jidori Meshi(Chicken Rice)" on Wednesdays, and "Tokachi Yakiniku Bento" on Other days. It is very popular. If you are coming to Shintoku Station from now on, please leave the taste of Shintoku and Tokachi on one page along with the memories of the Nemuro Main Line.

Goma throws a goma tree into the flame in the altar to ward off evil and calamity, purify one's desires, and fulfill one's aspirations. It is an esoteric ritual to ask. At Oyama Temple, once a year (usually on February 28) a special event is held. Godangoma sets up altars in front of the Five Great Myō Kings, places a fire furnace in front of each altar, burns milk, etc., and prays to the Honzon. We burn the firewood of our troubles with the fire of wisdom and pray for no illness and disaster, increased profits, and respect. This ceremony is visited by many pilgrims from far and wide, and it is crowded with bonfires all day long. Even if you look at the whole country, it is rare to see a goma performed at the five altars. The Godan Goma practice is a special event held once a year, but the regular Goma prayer is held every day, and it is a valuable experience that anyone can participate in. In the solemn atmosphere of Oyama Temple deep in the mountains, please spend a moment to wash your heart. Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, you can purify your mind and body by participating in the ritual of Goma and return to your daily life with a new mindset. Please enjoy this precious opportunity to bring peace and moisture to your heart along with the solemn atmosphere of the temple. Anyone can participate, so feel free to ask.

【Snowy Miya Forest】 Elementary school students in the village The third time of the Wildlife Class! This time, the title is "Let's look for treasure in the winter forest!" In the Miya Forest that spreads to cover the ski resort The highlight of the event was the "treasure" walk on snowshoes. Because the treasure had a transmitter attached to it. Using a tool called a goat antenna, while searching for the position Climb up and down. When listening to the sound emitted by the receiver All participants focused and listened. Find a direction with less noise. The weather was sunny. Because the air was so clear It was a perfect day to walk in the forest of the Snow Palace. I walked a lot and found a treasure It's not about food or hot drinks. The children seemed a little disappointed, but they got venison stew as a souvenir. Personally, I met him at a summer camp It was also nice to be able to reunite with university students.

The parking lot is about a 30-minute walk to the summit, so you can easily enjoy climbing and hiking. The view from the top is spectacular, and if the conditions are right, you can see Mt. Fuji floating in a sea of clouds. Don't miss the Astragalus azaleas, which bloom around the beginning of June! 【Crocodile Mound Sakura】 The 330-year-old Ipponzakura tree that blooms on the alligator mound was designated as a natural monument of Nirasaki City in the first year of Heisei. In the background of the towering cherry blossom trees, you can overlook Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake, and it is also popular as a photo spot. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, they are lit up and you can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere. 【Takeda Hachimangu】 Takeda Hachimangu Shrine was founded in 822 AD and is associated with the Kai Takeda Family. The Main Shrine was rebuilt by Lord Takeda Shingen and is also an important cultural property of Japan. 【Nirasaki Omura Memorial Park】 At Omura Memorial Park, you can experience art at the Nirasaki Omura Museum of Art, where paintings and ceramics collected by Dr. Satoshi Omura, who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, are exhibited, enjoy cooking at the soba restaurant, refresh your mind and body at the hot spring for a day trip, and deepen your learning and interaction with people at the Hakuyuki Dormitory. From the summit of the mountain, which is about 1704 meters above sea level, you can overlook a 360-degree panorama of Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake. This place is often compared to the renowned Tokyo station by many tourists. It used to be the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice but now serves as the Institute of Legal Affairs and the Legal Library. The Meiji period construction was designed by two competent German architects. Despite being damaged in World War II, it was successfully restored. The symmetrical and majestic architecture of the building is simply breathtaking. The European style of the Meiji period is beautifully represented in this structure and looks even more stunning during the rare snowfall in Tokyo. Exploring new places in this bustling city during the snow season is an experience worth having.
