Introducing the second round of Sake Tourism tours 😊
On Saturday, December 13, we will host “An Adult Winery Tour: Behind-the-Scenes Visit and Mini Course of Fine Food and Drink.”
At Tokachigaoka Winery, you will tour areas of the winery that are not usually open to the public and compare two carefully crafted wines paired with cheese 🍷
At Ikeda Wine Castle, we will show you the winery and distillery production sites and give special access to areas normally closed to visitors 🎵
After the tours, enjoy a luxurious mini-course lunch ✨
You will taste small pours of wines paired with each dish and savor the marriage of food and wine 😍

On Saturday, November 29th, join “Experience the Blessings of Grapes!! Winery Tour and Grape Dyeing Workshop.”
At Tokachi Makiba-no-Ie Winery, learn the winemaking process and taste three different wines.
Afterwards, visit the dye studio nosome to try dyeing with grape canes and clusters left over from wine production at Tokachi Makiba-no-Ie Winery, and enjoy a moment that connects you with the cycle of the grape’s bounty.
nosome has long extracted dyes from agricultural waste and used them for dyeing.

What is the Tokachi Sake Travel Book?
It’s a keepsake booklet you use while touring Tokachi to collect and enjoy each winery’s and brewery’s original labels.
There are four ways to enjoy the Sake Travel Book😍
1️⃣ Tour and enjoy
The booklet introduces Tokachi’s wineries and breweries, places to drink, shops to buy from, and accommodations where you can drink and stay. Savor the drinks as you make this your Tokachi tour book.
2️⃣ Collect and enjoy
When you purchase one or more bottles (any brand) at participating wineries or breweries, present the Sake Travel Book at the register to receive that winery’s or brewery’s original label as a gift🎁🎁
There are six designs inspired by each winery’s or brewery’s features😊
The booklet includes pages where you can stick each label✨

The Hiroo Santa Land tree lighting ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025 😊
This annual event is held at the sacred site of Hiroo Santa Land, Daimaruyama Forest Park, on the fourth Saturday of October 🎄🎄
On the day, a Christmas market and the Santa Land Sound Festival start at 2:00 PM, and the tree lighting ceremony begins at 5:00 PM 😍
About 150,000 lights and some 10,000 wooden lanterns in the park will illuminate at the signal, wrapping the area in a magical glow.
Children in elementary school and younger will receive an early Christmas gift 🎁🎁
Fireworks will be launched after the lighting ceremony, sparkling brightly in the autumn night sky ✨✨
Come and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere if you can 🤗
Please wear warm clothing.

Enjoy student-focused events such as the elementary school calligraphy exhibition awards ceremony, high school calligraphy performance, and dance performances 🎵🎵
🔶October 26 – Art & Fantasy Day
The schedule is packed with family-friendly attractions including a hero show, impressionist singing show, picture book readings, and an idol show 🎶🎶
🔶October 27 – Health & Culture Day
You can watch health exercise sessions, a traffic safety outreach lecture, high school student showtime and live performances, and university and middle school students performing solo with guitar and voice 🎵🎵
🔶October 28 – Entertainment Day
Enjoy a kayōkyoku (popular song) show by Kō-chan & Mamizō, street performances by performer RUI, a kayōkyoku show by Akari Mizumori, and hula dance among other attractions 🎶🎶

At the garden of Rokkatei Art Village, the trees at the entrance and the tree-lined paths are turning red and yellow 🍂🍂

The autumn foliage season has arrived, and Obihiro city is turning red and yellow 😊
📌 Manabe Garden
The “Autumn Thanksgiving Festival” is taking place on October 18th and 19th.
Various events are planned, including a rare special opening of the inside of Shinsenkaku and live performances by singer-songwriters.
Foreign maples in the garden are at their peak, and Japanese maples will start changing color soon!!
The café offers “Risu-fuwa-yaki,” a fluffy pastry stamped with a squirrel, a cute sweet treat 😍
Staff recommend the pumpkin flavor—please enjoy one after your stroll if you like 🎵
📌 Shichiku Garden
Several varieties of colorful dahlias are in full bloom, brightening the garden!!
The trees are also turning red and yellow, so there’s still more autumn color to enjoy 🍁🍁
There’s a Halloween ghost at the photo spot, so be sure to take a commemorative picture together 😍

The 30th Churui Dontokoi Village Festival will take place 😊
The program opens with a Nauman drum performance, followed by Tsugaru shamisen by the Ishiguro Group, the Jibasan-ders Stage Show, a mimicry act, and a popular song show—an array of lively stage performances to enjoy 🎵🎵
You can also try firefighting experiences, see a police car display, and savor Churui specialties such as lily bulbs and Wagyu beef on sale, so there’s plenty of local gourmet to enjoy!!
The finale features a prize lottery and a bread-throwing event 😍

On Sunday, October 19, the Sarabetsu Furusato Hall will host the “Sarabetsu Great Harvest Festival”! 😊
The Great Harvest Festival invites many visitors to savor local flavors while promoting Sarabetsu’s agricultural and livestock products and specialty goods. 🎵🎵
Celebrating the bounty of the land, Sarabetsu’s most delicious offerings come together!!
The JA Sarabetsu Youth Division will sell produce such as May Queen potatoes, onions, azuki beans, and burdock, and will offer popular collaborative menu items, collaborative sweets, and the craft beer “Sarabetsu Furue-ru.” 🥔🧅🫘🍺
Sarabetsu Agricultural High School will sell student-made sweets, including nata de coco panna cotta called “Sarakotta,” and a new product, “Saranouban Curry.” 🍛
At the food booths, the Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division and various vendors will offer special dishes made with local ingredients.
Highlights include Sarabetsu wagyu steaks and the proud large-pot dish “Sarabetsu Wagyu Mushroom Soup,” supervised and demonstrated by Chef Mabuchi of Mugine. 😍
There’s more to enjoy: a gourmet stamp rally, a prize lottery, and a big-eating and talk live show by Angela Sato, among many attractions!
A dog run will be set up in one corner of the venue. Please use it responsibly under your own supervision, observe manners, and refrain from bringing dogs into the food booth area—cooperation with the rules is appreciated.
Packed with fun activities, the Sarabetsu Great Harvest Festival is a perfect outing—please come with friends and family and join us at the venue! 🤗

The 23rd Shihoro Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 😊
Enjoy an autumn market selling agricultural and livestock products, processed goods, and local specialties, along with the Shihoro Taste Market offering Shihoro beef loin cut steaks, oshiruko (sweet red bean soup with mochi), and udon, plus all-you-can-fill bag deals for potatoes and onions to savor the flavors of fall 🧅🥔
The festival also features a timed challenge to eat an exact weight called the “Eat and Match the Weight” game, a “Eat and Win!! Grand Lottery,” the Calbee Quiz Rally, and many other attractions 🎵🎵
