<Taiki Town urban area, the season’s first snowfall has arrived>
Last night’s snow left a light dusting across the town center.
This view comes from the newly completed Mt. Moiwa observation deck.
You can still drive to the observation deck parking lot, but the forest road is not plowed, so deeper snow will make the site inaccessible by car.

A viewing deck has been completed at Moiwa yama Forest Park.
A viewing deck has been completed near the summit of Mowa-yama, located on the northern side of Taiki Town. Because snow removal does not take place during winter, your last chance to enjoy the panoramic views of the Hidaka Mountain Range is before the snowfall begins.
Be sure to pay a visit!

The 49th Kashiwabiraki Park Festival took place on September 21.
Due to severe weather from the night before, the event was scaled down and moved to the Lifelong Learning Center, and popular attractions such as food vendor booths and the one-tatami-shop were canceled.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who had been looking forward to enjoying the event outdoors.
Even so, many people attended for the stage events and to buy local specialties such as pears from Soma City and Taiki Wagyu. The prize draw was also a great success!
Thank you to everyone who came!
