Naha Hurley prays for the safety of the sea and abundant fishing /
It is a traditional Naha hurley held every year at the Naha Port New Port Pier in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture.
It is a traditional event of the sea in Okinawa that has continued since the Ryukyu Kingdom period about 600 years ago, and is Held in during Golden Week on May 3~5 to pray for safe navigation and good fishing.
It features a dragon boat with a dragon motif, and it's amazing to see 32 rowers competing with each other!
I went to see it again this year. The sound of the bell and the finger whistle were hot again this year ^^

Okinawa Winter Tradition "Kikumination" /
In various parts of Okinawa, the chrysanthemum fields are illuminated from 11 p.m. ~ 3 p.m. every year from December ~ March. It is "electric chrysanthemum". Cultivation of chrysanthemums has become popular in conjunction with the New Year and the New Year, and the flowering time of chrysanthemums is adjusted by lighting at night.
There are electric chrysanthemums on the mainland, but I hear that they are mainly House cultivation and cannot be seen from the outside. The warm Okinawan scenery and fantastic scenery will Unfolds!
In Okinawa, it is called "Kikumination", which is a combination of chrysanthemums and illumination^^
Actually, I went to see it for the first time. (-_-;) The location is in the Obazura district of Itoman City.
As you walk through the darkness, you will suddenly see a light. How many chrysanthemums are growing? It seems that the lighting time is different, and I was surprised when the light bulb in the next field suddenly turned on. ^^;
When you come to Visiting the site, don't Squid into the field because it's private land...

Autumn Dusk and Purple Gold Mountain/Comet Atlas /
I took this photo from a residential area in Gushi, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. It was covered by thick clouds, but a comet appeared through the clouds^^
The angle of the comet's tail that Shochiku Ume Plum is photographed in Hokkaido is different from Okinawa. Does that mean that the distance is that far away?
I could see the comet's tail with the naked eye, so I Impression it for the first time since Comet Hale-Bopp^^
You can see Senaga Island in the middle and the runway of Naha Airport on the right. The mountain shadow in the back right is the Kerama Islands.
