✨ July 7th is “Haskap Day” ✨
The name “haskap” comes from the fact that two flowers produce a single berry, so its flower language is “a pledge of love” 💕
Like the separated lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi of the Tanabata legend, this day symbolizes the meeting of two distant people, and because the haskap harvest runs from late June to mid-July, July 7th was chosen 🎋🌠

🍶Tomakomai-region limited sake “Junmai-shu Bisen”🍶
“Junmai-shu Bisen” is a junmai ginjo sake made with 100% Tomakomai City tap water and Suisei sake rice grown in Atsumacho, the town neighboring Tomakomai City💁♀️
Tomakomai City’s tap water comes from the groundwater of Mt. Tarumae and was selected in 1985 by the former Ministry of Health and Welfare as one of the “cities with delicious tap water for populations over 100,000,” making it well known for its tasty tap water🚰
Slightly dry with a fruity aroma and a clean, crisp flavor, it won the Monde Selection Gold Award three years in a row starting in 2008!!🎊✨
It’s also recommended as a souvenir!🎁
