Notice: Yasuda Elementary School GW Festa 2025
From May 3rd to 5th, an event at Roadside Station Yasuda Elementary School offers hands-on activities such as hiking, rice planting, and carp streamer (koinobori) making. Participants in rice planting receive half-price admission to Banya no Yu.
There is also a charcoal-kiln building experience in the Egatsu district, known for the Egatsu daffodil (suisen) Road, so please check the flyer.
The event is organized by the Kyonan Watch Team. Come and enjoy Kyonan this Golden Week.

Today marks the start of the new fiscal year. It’s rainy and cold, but the Somei Yoshino cherry trees in Kyonan Town are in full bloom.
The first photo was taken at Lake Sakuma Dam, and the second at Adachi Ward Kyonan Nature House.

On March 29, a Cherry Blossom Market will take place at Sakuma Dam Lake in Kyonan Town.
Date and time: Saturday, March 29, 10:30 AM–
Location: Sakuma Dam Park, Urban–Rural Exchange Plaza
Food trucks, craft stalls, and live music will be there, so come and enjoy.
Note: Parking at the venue is very limited, so please use the shuttle bus.
We will hold a Garapon lottery during the event. Collect three stamps to enter the draw.
Guests who use the shuttle bus will receive one stamp as a gift.

The Yoritomo cherry trees (Kawazu-zakura) at Lake Sakuma Dam are now in full bloom. Some parts have begun turning into leafed cherry trees, but you can still fully enjoy the flowers.
The illumination in the cherry-viewing square, "Yoritomo Cherry and Bamboo Lights," has been extended until the end of the cherry viewing season and lights up daily from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As of January 18th, the daffodils in Kyonan Town are in full bloom. Many people are hiking to see the daffodils around the Lake Sakuma reservoir, in the Ookuzure area, and along the Egatsu Daffodil Road.

This is an announcement for the Narcissus Marche & Flea Market held in Kyonan Town on January 12th.
The venue is the parking lot of Kyonan Town Health and Welfare Comprehensive Center Sukoyaka.
Six food trucks will be there this time, so come hungry.
Specifically, offerings include beef-tongue croquettes, squid fritters, hot dogs, hamburgers, and Latvian dishes. Vegetables will also be on sale.
There will also be a music event. Guitarist Spider tetsu will perform!
