This is a photo of the other day when I went to Heisenji Hakusan Shrine in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture. The very vast site is covered with moss, and there are various large and small companies scattered around. You can only hear birds singing in the area, and there is a very quiet and solemn atmosphere. Even though it was early summer, it was cool, and the moss after the rain was shining freshly. At a shrine with a history of 1,300 years, I experienced a time when I thought about various things in the long history, such as seeing the ruins of the Buddha up close. It is a very recommended spot when you want to be alone.
