This time, I visited Butadon Hanatokachi in Obihiro✨
The pork bowl at Butadon Hanatokachi is a superb dish built on four commitments—Hokkaido pork, the sauce, the grilling method, and Hokkaido rice—and it’s topped with Tokachi-grown wild horseradish and edamame🍚
The sauce has just the right sweetness, and when you put a bit of wild horseradish on the juicy pork and eat them together, it tastes refreshingly delicious🤤

Here I introduce one of Obihiro’s well-known shops, Butadon Hanatokachi, which insists on four secrets to deliciousness—Hokkaido pork, its sauce, the grilling style, and rice—and adds Tokachi-grown wild horseradish and edamame to create a tasty pork bowl🍚
With its perfectly sweet sauce and juicy pork paired with wild horseradish, you won’t get tired of it until the last bite; it’s very tasty🤤

This year’s heat hastened the color change of the grapes at the Tokachigawa Onsen Vineyard in the garden of the Tokachigawa Onsen Guide Center, and the bunches are filling out nicely, a little earlier than usual! 😍
Be sure to stop by and take a look when you visit! ✨
*This is the farmers’ precious field, so please do not enter the vineyard.
-
Because of the hot summer in Tokachi, Hokkaido, the grapes at the Tokachigawa Onsen Vineyard beside the Tokachigawa Onsen Guide Center changed color sooner than in past years and the bunches have grown fully formed. 😍
If you come to Tokachigawa Onsen, be sure to visit the vineyard! ✨

Tokachigawa Onsen is home to a rare peat-based hot spring in Japan known as a moor spring.
A moor spring is an alkaline hot spring that contains humic substances derived from lignite (sub-bituminous coal), so named because its effects are similar to those of moor baths. Compared with ordinary mineral springs, this type of spring is unusually rare worldwide, making it a precious resource with limited supply.
An authentic sample of lignite is on display at the Tokachigawa Onsen Association, so please come and see it!
