Hello everyone! This is Kōshū Inden, Yamanashi Traditional Crafts Village, located in Shosenkyo Gorge.
Right now, Shosenkyo Gorge is wrapped in vivid fresh greenery around the fountain, and it’s truly the season when nature’s beauty stands out. On clear days, the deep blue sky contrasts beautifully with the lively green, making you stop in your tracks to take it in. The sound of the fountain and the pleasant breeze add to the atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a Golden Week stroll.
At our shop, we showcase many traditional crafts from Yamanashi. One highlight is the recently launched natural stone polishing experience!
Choose your favorite natural stone and gradually polish it—the process feels like discovering a little treasure. Watching the stone become shiny is so absorbing that both adults and children get completely caught up in it.
Create a travel memory or enjoy it while waiting for your meal.
Come and try it for yourself. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you.

Hello 😃 This is Enemon Denshokan. While the news often says the Kofu Basin is hot, a crisp spring breeze still sweeps through Shosenkyo Gorge, where ukonzakura (ukon cherry) blooms in full glory and fresh green leaves brighten the ravine!
In fact, Enemon Denshokan has a marble chessboard on display. The natural stone’s beautiful patterns give it the presence of a work of art. In the quiet gallery, you can relax as you hold the chess pieces and enjoy a peaceful moment. It’s also highly photogenic, so please stop by as a memento of your sightseeing.
Also, from April 27th we began a new polishing experience led mainly by Mr. Fukuda, a Yamanashi Master First-Class Gemstone Polisher. In a one-hour course you can become a “gemstone polishing artisan” and create a unique travel memory just for you.
We look forward to welcoming you to the museum!

Hello 😃 This is the Yamanashi Wine Kingdom main building. While Shosenkyo Gorge is of course lovely on sunny days, the scenery wrapped in the quiet of a rainy day is exceptional.
The rugged rock faces shrouded in mist create a dreamlike scene like an ink wash painting, making you feel as if you’ve stepped into another world ✨
A about a five-minute drive from the upper waterfall area brings you to the Shosenkyo Arakawa Dam. The sweeping view over Lake Nosen, formed by the dam, is breathtaking! The mountains and mist reflected on the calm lake surface compose a picture-like beauty.

Hello, I'm Minamoto. Shosenkyo Gorge is growing warmer day by day, and the cherry blossom season has arrived!
Many people walking outside are already wearing short sleeves.
What I recommend this time is a one-way trekking route of about 3 km!
This season feels wonderful and is perfect for walking!
First, park your car in the prefectural parking lot and stroll along the promenade. Walk slowly while taking in the granite rock faces, strange rock formations, and the flowing river...
The whole Shosenkyo area is a power spot, with a "dragon vein" of energy flowing from Mt. Fuji that purifies your mind and body!!!
After your walk, enjoy shopping and dining in the Takinoue area and along Crystal Street.
Shosenkyo is a nature-rich spot about a 25-minute drive from JR Kofu Station, making it an easy visit from Tokyo.
If you have the time, please come to Shosenkyo to recharge your energy! We look forward to seeing you.
