Ōnaruto Bridge Promenade Whirlpool Path

The whirlpool path is an Ocean Promenade installed under the Car of the Ohnaruto Bridge.
In the observation deck about 450 meters away, there is a glass floor, and you can look into the "whirlpools" that occur in the Naruto Strait, one of the world's three major currents, from a height of about 45 meters.
The occurrence time of whirlpools varies every day, so please check in advance (please refer to the "Tide Chart" on the Whirlpool Road Home page). It is recommended to do so.

Kawaura Valleys

Autumn leaves and emerald green water are mysterious
Valleys with a total length of about 7 kilometers surrounded by Mt. Samon, Mt. Hinaga, and Mt. Takinami.
Elevation about 300~1400 Meter of water in the Kawaura area gathers, and there are many place names related to its steepness, such as "Laughing" and "Zatobuchi".
It was selected as one of the 33 best Autumn leaves in Hida and Mino, and in contrast to the majesty created by the sheer rocks of 40~50 meters, the rock azaleas bloom beautifully in Spring, the Autumn leaves are colored in autumn, and the mysterious world Unfolds together with the emerald green water surface.

Takaga Shrine Jinsuian

Naoko Takahashi used it for water supply and became famous "Takaga Forest Water".
The place that serves as the water intake is "Takaga Jinsuian" in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. It all started when the Ujiko (shrine parishioners) of Takaga Shrine, approach to the temple Local in 1996 (Heisei 8), dug a well about 50 meters underground at the side of Takaga Shrine (Takaga Yato) and Use it as water for the shrine.
More than 200,000 people gather every year to fetch this water, and it is a hanging water hermitage that Takaga Healing is proud of Township.
When you enter the hermitage, please pay the firstfruits fee of 100 yen.
You can pump up to 2 pieces at a time (up to 20 liters per container).
On Saturdays and Sundays, it is so popular that there is a line all day, and it is crowded with people carrying large plastic tanks.

Takaga Shrine
Takaga Shrine has been rebuilt three times, from its founding in the Nara period (Yoro year), to the Heian period (Tenjo year), the Yoshino period (Keian year), and the Tokugawa period (Yasunaga year). The current Main Shrine was built about 280 years ago, and the Yawata Shrine, which is enshrined to the left facing the front, was built about 50 years before the Main Shrine. By the way, the current priest of Takaga Shrine is the 39th generation.
