Please also see here if you like.
The national Showa Memorial Park is located in Tachikawa City and Akishima City, Tokyo, and was developed as a park on the site of the former Tachikawa Air Base of the U.S. Army, as part of the project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Showa.
Many flowers are planted in the park, and you can feel the four seasons on your skin. In autumn, you can enjoy autumn leaves, ginkgo trees, cosmos, and in winter, you can enjoy narcissus, and the Japan garden is also recommended.
In addition, you can enjoy the illuminations in winter, and the beautiful Japan mountain stream in the mountain stream square.
