[Chiheisen Morizumu]

The cafeteria of GA.KOPPER was overflowing with people, and many were gathered in the hallway, listening to the relay talks.

They came together from various parts of the country and even the world to participate in the pre-festival of the Chiheisen report meeting "Morizumu," in what can be considered a remote area of Hokkaido, Nishiokoppe Village.

The Chiheisen Conference was established in 1978.
It is a network of "doers" who are interested in exploration, adventure, and travel.

These are people who place importance on seeing the field and have been sharing what they have witnessed through monthly report meetings and a publication called "Chiheisen Tsushin."

While there are no offices, membership fees, or rules, the connections formed over a long time are significant.
In the place called Nishiokoppe Village, reunions with those met through reports or communications, as well as new encounters, were nurtured.

The gathering on the 5th (Saturday)
started with an opening act by the Chiheisen Proper Conduct Orchestra and the Nishiokoppe Wenshiri Taiko, followed by three report meetings and a venison festival.
The traditional "Chiheisen Auction & Relay Talk" was also a great success!

On the 6th (Sunday),
there was a dense report meeting from around 9 AM to 4 PM.

It was three days filled with the energy of those involved in Morizumu.

Thank you very much for choosing Nishiokoppe Village as the venue for such a large-scale gathering and for the efforts made to hold this event.
