Tofukuji Temple - The painting on the ceiling is wonderful
Thereare this temple is located along the prefectural road Ito Nishi-Izu Line, in front of the clear streams of the Nishina River, behind the Yamamon Bell Tower. It was established as Tenfukuji Temple in the year of Tenfuku (about 750 years ago), and was later called Tofukuji. On the ceiling of the main hall, there are Thereare 500 arhats painted with plaster by a craftsman commonly known as Nonbei Yasu Mr./Ms. at the end of the Taisho period.
