Subsequent excavations revealed the history of porcelain firing for about 100 years from around 1650. Inheriting such history, "Uchida Plate Yamayaki" has been revived in modern times. Even now, when Kentaro Kiyama, the fourth generation, inherited the pottery, the potter himself mins Amakusa Porcelain stone and Shiki clay, and carefully produces vessels one by one from the ingredients grown in the land of Amakusa.
