・ Isehara Daijingu Shrine ... Mamemaki (bean throwing) 15 o'clock ~
Oni is outside~, good fortune is inside~!
It is an event to pray for a healthy and happy life this year and to exorcise evil spirits. There is a saying that if you eat as many times as your age, you will be happy.
At three shrines in Isehara City, a grand mamemaki (bean throwing) is held in the precincts.
A bean-sowing officer dressed as an event priest lines up on a special stage and scatters lucky beans all at once with shouts. It contains beans and lotteries stored in a baby bag, and local children pick them up with great enthusiasm.
At Hibita Shrine, the Oni Yarai Shinto ritual is a highlight. It has become a traditional event.
