At last, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 4:30 PM at Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine on Mt. Daisen,
we will release 50 Daisen Sky Lanterns®!
As of today the weather is improving, so we will hold the event as planned.
Participants who have registered should come to the Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine Assembly Hall for check-in between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

We can only pray for good weather. Viewing is free of charge.
Temperatures are expected to be low that day, so please dress accordingly.

Winter on Mt. Daisen — a lineup of events!

For seven limited winter days this year, the Daisen Cable Car line will be lit up and run night service until 7:00 PM.

Take the bus bound for “Daisen Cable” — about 30 minutes
Get off at the final stop and walk 15 minutes along Koma Sando to the cable car station
