Daisen Sky Lantern® —Wishes from 700 m above 🌠— Notice: Event goes ahead in light rain; cancelled in severe weather At last, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 4:30 PM at Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine on Mt. Daisen, we will release 50 Daisen Sky Lanterns®! As of today the weather is improving, so we will hold the event as planned. Participants who have registered should come to the Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine Assembly Hall for check-in between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. We can only pray for good weather. Viewing is free of charge. Temperatures are expected to be low that day, so please dress accordingly. Winter on Mt.
