It usually has a plain color, but it seems that this name was given because it changes to a gorgeous body color. It seems that they are often hidden in the shadows, so please take your time to look for them!

? Currently the longest-lived in Japan! Very large "sunfish"

It's the first information to be opened to the public... The sunfish (7 years old) in the tank just after the turnstile is currently the longest-lived in Japan! The body is also very big!
Since it is a delicate fish, it is very rare for it to live for such a long time. Please come and see them ?

? Period is the only time you can see it! "Spawning of water octopus"

These white objects are all eggs, and the mother Mr./Ms. octopus protect the eggs by spraying garbage and water with their arms!
The Echizen Matsushima Aquarium is focusing on breeding water octopus, and the "Mizudako Museum" just opened ? in March this year
We are taking on the challenge of "breeding water octopus from spawning date and hatching to adulthood", which is said to be unprecedented, and we are currently conducting research on the composition of food.
