🌲 Morotsuka Village will host two nature-based hands-on programs!
1. One-of-a-kind Wooden Amulet Accessory Workshop Tour💍
Use the village’s abundant woods to handcraft your own wooden accessory✨
The finished piece will be blessed by the deputy chief priest of Kinkei-ji Temple.
You will complete a unique “amulet accessory” made just for you!
📅 Dates: Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, October 5, 10:00–15:00
📍 Venue: Shiitake no Yakata
👥 Capacity: 10 participants (minimum 5 to run)
💰 Fee: ¥3,000 (materials charged separately)
👕 Bring: work gloves, towel, apron (if concerned about wood dust), drinks,
parts fees
2. Autumn Mountain School “Platto”
Yuzu Picking & Yuzu Kosho Making Experience🍊
Harvest fragrant yuzu and make the versatile seasoning yuzu kosho that goes with everything! Why not make one of Morotsuka’s staple condiments, alongside miso, with your own hands?

💰 Fee: Adults ¥5,000 / Children ¥4,000
