Wind Children Pīhyara Troupe, see you again!
In early July, two performers from the Kazenoko Theatre Company came from Hokkaido.
They are the Wind Children (Pīpū) Pīhyara Troupe!
They excel at traditional games like kendama, juggling, and spinning tops.
The audience was captivated by their skillful spinning of tops and their light-hearted juggling while singing.
Before we knew it, the story had begun...
This time, it was the tale of "Shouboujidousha Jiputa."
The objects appearing in the story were made from familiar materials, leading to many discoveries and surprises about how such expressions can be created!
The audience, enchanted by the duo's playful performance, remained in the venue after the show to enjoy traditional games.
Both adults and children played together, sharing joy.
It was a wonderful performance that seemed to awaken the childlike spirit that had been sleeping somewhere within us.
Thank you to everyone who came,
the Kazenoko Theatre Company!
