"Venison Festival!!!" Following last year, the Venison Festival was held again! Deer can eat crops and flowers, and collisions with cars can cause accidents, making them a troublesome presence. However, in Nishiokoppe Village, where deer are relatively numerous, some people are working not to treat deer simply as pests but to use them as a resource. This event was part of those efforts, a day to deliciously enjoy deer caught in Nishiokoppe right there in Nishiokoppe.
