Call for Participants

Would you like to launch a Sky Lantern® from the grounds of Oyama Afuri Shrine Lower Shrine and send it into the night sky above Oyama’s Michelin Green Guide Japan two-star panorama?
We are now accepting participants!
This rare experience combines the shrine’s illuminated buildings and night views with the ethereal glow of Sky Lanterns® carrying each person’s wishes and thoughts.
The Oyama Cable Car will also be lit along its route and operate until 19:00.

Limited to 50 lanterns, first-come, first-served, 3,000 yen per lantern (tax included)

From Odakyu Line Isehara Station North Exit, take a Kanachu bus from Platform 4 bound for Oyama Cable, about 25 minutes
Get off at the final stop and walk 15 minutes, or take the 6-minute Oyama Cable to Afuri Shrine Station
