Hosenji Temple 4th “Hanamatsuri” At last, tomorrow, Thursday, March 20, Hosenji will hold the 4th “Hanamatsuri” to celebrate the birth of Buddha. Enjoy the handmade hanamido (flower shrine) filled with beautiful blooms, the gentle scent of amazakecha (sweet tea), and a heartwarming memorial service. We will offer special goshuin and shuin unique to the Hanamatsuri. The first 100 visitors will receive a kirie (paper-cut) gift, and there will be rakugo storytelling by Kitaro Mukashi Mukashi-tei, a rakugo performer from Isehara, among other attractions.
