It's okay for beginners! The farmer will teach you how to dig carefully from scratch. It is a widely maintained bamboo forest, so even children can enjoy it with confidence.

Bamboo shoot is Mengshu bamboo, a type of bamboo that grows wild only in the southern part of Nagano Prefecture.

Fertilizer costs are soaring, and the aging of the garden owner has made it difficult to maintain and manage the garden.
Therefore, in order to secure labor costs and maintenance and management costs for the park, we have introduced an admission fee from FY2023.

■ Admission fee + Bamboo shoot harvest Fee (tax included)
● Admission fee: 300 yen per person (junior high school students and older)
It fluctuates as follows depending on the harvest amount of one ordinary car (light vehicle).

・ Bamboo shoot Harvest 10 kg or more → 《Admission fee 0 yen》
・ Bamboo shoot 5kg~10kg harvest → 《Admission fee 100 yen》

One harvest bag will be distributed at the reception for each ordinary car (light vehicle).

■ About the harvest bag
One harvest bag will be distributed per group.
Bamboo shoots will be distributed at the park only if the bags are full in the park and cannot fit them.

Bamboo shoots to take home separately, please ask the reception desk at the time of payment. It is sold for 50 yen per bag.

■ About rice bran
One bag of rice bran is distributed for each harvest bag.
(One bag of rice bran can be drilled for about 15 kg.) ）

If there is more than 15 kg at the time of weighing, we will distribute additional items. (1 bag per 15 kg)

Bamboo shoots are divided and taken home, and if you want two or more rice bran, please ask the reception desk at the time of payment. It is sold for 50 yen per bag.

■ Domestic Travel Insurance
You can join at your discretion. Use it at the time of reception.

■ For those who come with 2 or more private cars
One regular car (up to 10 passengers) and one mini car (up to 4 passengers) will be settled as one set.
Use the car should be kept in the parking lot during the Toyooka travel time.

・ Bag for separating Bamboo shoots (only if necessary)

■ Grilled Bamboo shoot (wisher)
We offer a service that allows you to make harvested Bamboo shoots into grilled Bamboo shoots during "Toyooka Travel Time".
If you wish, please harvest small Bamboo shoots for grilled Bamboo Shoots in addition to the Bamboo Shoots you take home.

We are preparing bamboo charcoal during the travel time, so if you throw it into the charcoal with the skin on, it will be steamed for 15 ~ 20 minutes and it will be ready. Freshly picked Bamboo shoots have little egg at the tip, and you can eat them as they are if they are baked without removing the scum.

Use of the bamboo charcoal stove is free, so please give it a try.

Bamboo shoots become more eggy about an hour after harvesting. Even if you take it home and grill it with bamboo shoots, it is not something that you can eat because the egg taste becomes stronger. Please enjoy the freshly picked grilled bamboo shoots that can only be made here.
