・National Designated Natural Monument of Kawazu
September 3, 1936 (Showa 11) National Designated Natural Monument
The root circumference is about 2.5 m in diameter, and the trunk comes out in the north, south, east, and west directions to the sky, and it is 10 m high at the highest point. It is a large cycad tree estimated to be more than 600 years old, and was designated as a National Designated Natural Monument in 1936 (Showa 11).
In June of 1981 (Showa 56), Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Showa are visiting.
