I’m headed to Shosenkyo Gorge to see the autumn leaves! The foliage is just about to reach its most beautiful colors now.

Shosenkyo is getting cooler and the leaves are starting to turn more vividly. Because it was warm this year, the color change was slow, but the leaves look like they’ll finally turn red. I’m sending photos I took today for your reference!

Weekends and holidays are likely to be crowded. If you’re coming by car, arrive early to secure parking. Park in the municipal or prefectural lots, or in the lots being offered free of charge. If you use a shop’s parking lot, be sure to check the usage conditions first.
