Roadside Station Oono Sweet Potato Festival

On Saturday, November 29th, the "Roadside Station Oono Sweet Potato Festival" will be held at Roadside Station Oono in Onocho, Bungoono City, Oita Prefecture.
Currently, we are seeking participants for the sweet potato digging experience. A prize will be awarded to the person who digs up the largest sweet potato. Pre-registration is required, and the deadline is Saturday, October 31st. The capacity is 200 people (elementary school students and above), and registration will close once the limit is reached. The participation fee is 1,000 yen per person, which includes one designated bag.
Since the digging will be done by hand, tools such as shovels cannot be used. Please wear clothing suitable for touching the soil, such as boots and gloves. It is also advisable to bring a hat, towel, and a change of clothes.
Come and dig for big ones to create autumn memories!
