Hie shrine is a very popular tourist spot in Tokyo metropolitan nagatacho area. The god enshrined here is believed to be guardian deity of the Tokugawa family. Just outside the temple area there are several torii gates which looks very beautiful. So, my today's recommended travel spot is Hie shrine.

Spring in Japan means cities surrounded by rows of cherry blossom trees, but whenever we imagine we think about light pink or white flowers and their fragile petals fluttering in the breeze. But these dark pink cherry blossoms are also gorgeous and they bloom much before than common sakura. These flowers are called Kawazu zakura and you can see this grand view if you visit this town from late Feb to early march.

My recommended place is Karuizawa shiraitofalls. This beautiful curtain of the waterfall is so beautiful and unique. Usually waterfalls are coming out of a stream but here in this case water coming out of the wet soil. isn’t it cool? love the deep nature and calm atmosphere. it is one of the popular attractions of nagano.
