The Minamiizu Town Photo Contest 2025 is now accepting entries.
Please submit photos that capture Minamiizu’s charm, such as seasonal landscapes, event scenes, or drone shots.
This year we are also seeking high-resolution photos (over 10MB) suitable for posters.
※This contest accepts only online submissions of digital photographs.
Online entries must be in JPEG format created with digital cameras or similar devices. Each photo must be no larger than 10MB.
※Only the category promoting Minamiizu accepts high-resolution photos (over 10MB).
※The submitted photos are prize-winning works from the Minamiizu Town Photo Contest 2024.
<Entry Period>
From Sunday, June 1, 2025 to Saturday, January 31, 2026.
<Eligible Works>
Only works photographed between February 1, 2025 and January 31, 2026 are eligible.
<Categories>
1) Minamiizu Seasons category
Photos taken within Minamiizu Town (for example: spring marguerites, summer beaches, autumn spiny lobster fishing, or the first sunrise of winter).
※Photos taken at local tourist facilities that convey the seasons are also acceptable (for example: hisui-kazura at Shimogamo Tropical Botanical Garden or aloe at the Minamiizu Aloe Center).
2) Events category
Photos that convey the appeal of town events, such as the Yumigahama Fireworks Festival or the Bochibochi Marathon.
3) Drone category
Photos of Minamiizu Town taken with a drone.
4) Photos Promoting Minamiizu category
We are seeking high-resolution photos (over 10MB) that can be used on posters and similar materials.
Applicants may submit up to three entries per category (up to 12 entries across all four categories).
