Event Announcement📣
On Sunday, October 19, the Sarabetsu Furusato Hall will host the “Sarabetsu Great Harvest Festival”! 😊
The Great Harvest Festival invites many visitors to savor local flavors while promoting Sarabetsu’s agricultural and livestock products and specialty goods. 🎵🎵
Celebrating the bounty of the land, Sarabetsu’s most delicious offerings come together!!
The JA Sarabetsu Youth Division will sell produce such as May Queen potatoes, onions, azuki beans, and burdock, and will offer popular collaborative menu items, collaborative sweets, and the craft beer “Sarabetsu Furue-ru.” 🥔🧅🫘🍺
Sarabetsu Agricultural High School will sell student-made sweets, including nata de coco panna cotta called “Sarakotta,” and a new product, “Saranouban Curry.” 🍛
At the food booths, the Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division and various vendors will offer special dishes made with local ingredients.
Highlights include Sarabetsu wagyu steaks and the proud large-pot dish “Sarabetsu Wagyu Mushroom Soup,” supervised and demonstrated by Chef Mabuchi of Mugine. 😍
There’s more to enjoy: a gourmet stamp rally, a prize lottery, and a big-eating and talk live show by Angela Sato, among many attractions!
A dog run will be set up in one corner of the venue. Please use it responsibly under your own supervision, observe manners, and refrain from bringing dogs into the food booth area—cooperation with the rules is appreciated.
Packed with fun activities, the Sarabetsu Great Harvest Festival is a perfect outing—please come with friends and family and join us at the venue! 🤗
📌A temporary free round-trip shuttle bus will run from the Town Hall parking lot to the venue for your convenience. 🚌
