Akanko's local tofu, "Marimo Tofu" At "Tofu Kobo Marufuku" located in Akan Lake Onsen Town, we manufacture and sell safe and secure tofu made from 100-year-old Akan spring water and Hokkaido-grown soybeans. Shaped similarly to the famous confectionery "Marimo Yōkan" from Akan Lake, the tofu is filled with a lightly green matcha-flavored tofu inside a small rubber balloon. When you poke a toothpick into the rubber, the skin (rubber) peels off smoothly, providing a delightful experience with our signature product, "Marimo Tofu"!
