"Exchange between Zenkoji Temple and Thai Temples"
On October 19th, a commemorative ceremony for establishing friendly relations between Buddhism was held at Wat Sutat, a royal temple in Bangkok, Thailand, featuring three monks from Zenkoji Temple and local monks.
This temple exchange aimed to deepen mutual understanding between the two countries and further promote cultural, tourism, and interpersonal exchanges in the future. Thai celebrities also participated, adding to the lively atmosphere of the event.

"PR at the FIT Fair"
The FIT Fair is a travel exhibition in Bangkok aimed at attracting visitors to Japan. Zenkoji monks took the stage to promote the opening of Zenkoji Temple during a discussion with local influencers.

"The Relationship between Zenkoji and Thailand"
In the main hall (inner sanctum) of Zenkoji Temple, there is a seated statue of Shakyamuni Buddha gifted from Thailand in 1937, along with a relic of the Buddha sent the following year, highlighting the historical connection with Thailand. Last year, an exchange was also held with the Thai Embassy during the Setsubun Festival, and the relationship continues to deepen.
