Iida Tokimata Lantern Fireworks Festival

Many spectators visit every year, and the fireworks festival is lively. The lantern shedding that takes place at the same time began as the first Bon memorial service in the early Showa period, and is a summer tradition in Iida. In addition to the star mine that colors the night sky, you can enjoy underwater goldfish fireworks that color the river surface. The contrast between the lights streaming down the Tenryu River and the fireworks that color the night sky is truly vivid and fascinates the viewer.
