The Inko Hyotan Festival (Gion Festival) will be held again this year.
The "Inko Hyotan" is a protective charm from Yasaka Shrine, a subordinate shrine within Omiya Shrine, enshrining the deity who soothed the epidemic that spread through Yamaga during the Edo Period.
During the Inko Hyotan distribution period, limited Goshuin from Yasaka Shrine will be available, along with bamboo charms for health and epidemic prevention, ofuda, five-color hyotan charms, and pet charms.
Please come and visit.
