Held in Gourd Festival (Gion Festival) again this year.
"Inuko Gourd" is a talisman of Yasaka Shrine, a shrine within the Precincts of Omiya Shrine, which enshrines the god who quelled the plague that was prevalent in Yamaga during the Edo period.
During the Inuko Gourd Awarding Period, there will also be limited Shuin stamps of Yasaka Shrine, Sasamori, Ofuda, Five-color Gourd Guard, and Pet Guardian for disease-free disaster and epidemic elimination.
