Kanagawa's 100 Specialties [Crafts]
The "Kanagawa Specialty 100 Selections" are selected by the prefecture with recommendations from prefectural residents and organizations from among the crafts, processed foods, and agricultural, forestry, and fishery products cultivated in the tradition and climate of Kanagawa Prefecture, with the aim of widely promoting them both inside and outside the prefecture as an element of Kanagawa Prefecture's tourism appeal and contributing to the promotion of tourism. It was selected for the first time in Showa 60 and re-selected in 2006 (Heisei 18). More than 10 years have passed since the last selection, and the needs of tourists are changing, so we have selected a new "Kanagawa Specialty 100 Selections". We will also add attractive gems that are conscious of inbound tourism and local gourmet foods that are popular in the region, and widely promote them as important resources to convey the charm of Kanagawa.
