【What is the Kyushu Ball Throwing Championship?】
In 1990 (Heisei 2), in Wakan Town, Hokkaido, the "All Japan Ball Insertion Association (commonly known as AJTA)" was born as a new sports promotion organization that anyone can easily participate in.
In 2000 (Heisei 12), the AJTA Kyushu Association was established here in Morotsuka Village as an organization of the Kyushu block of the All Japan Ball Insertion Association. In support of AJTA's spirit of putting in the ball, we continue our activities as one of the Village development of the Village Forest Park and Morotsuka, which revitalizes the community through interaction with urban areas.
Currently, AJTA Kyushu gathers volunteers who have dreams of putting in the ball, and in addition to running the Kyushu Ball Throwing Championship (Held in every summer in Morotsuka Village), which is a step toward the national tournament, we are striving to popularize this easy and profound ball throwing competition as a recreational sport for the Village people.
