(2026-04-05) Night Cherry Blossom Illumination at Shingashi River

Flowing behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture
this cherry blossom avenue is famous
I went to take pictures for the first time last year
This year, I aimed for the "Flower Raft"

The Flower Raft at The Philosopher's Walk along Lake Biwa Canal in Kyoto
is too high of a hurdle, so I thought I'd start in Saitama lol

With various plans overlapping
I managed to make it on Sunday night
After transferring trains three times and taking a bus

Result: No Flower Raft appeared
Maybe it got swept away by the strong wind

That said, I think I captured
some pretty nice night cherry blossom shots
I also figured out the route to get there

and managed to get some beautiful night cherry blossom illuminations (●´ω｀●)
