The best time to see the cherry blossoms on the Chidorigafuchi Greenway is usually late March ~ early April. Since the water surface of the moat and the cherry blossoms are close, you can rent a boat at the "Ward Chidorigafuchi Boat Ground" and enjoy cherry blossom viewing from the boat. During the cherry blossom season, the "Chiyoda Sakura Festival" will also be held, and in 2023, it will be held from March 24 (Fri.) ~ April 4 (Tue.). It is also lit up from 18:00~22:00, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. The boat park is open every day during the cherry blossom illumination period and can be enjoyed until 20:30 (last boarding at 20:00).
