Tofukuji Temple is a temple that is a regular in the ranking of Kyoto autumn foliage spots. Many tourists visit during the autumn foliage season from mid-November to early December every year, and it is expected to be quite crowded during the illumination period.
The main attraction is the Tsuten Bridge, which connects the main hall and the Kaizando hall. Underneath this bridge is a valley called Sengyokukan with its historic architecture and magnificent carpet of autumn leaves, which is indescribably beautiful.
