◆Yumigahama Beach This literally bow-shaped shoreline curves for about 1.2 km, with a gently sloping seabed and calm waves. It is especially popular with families. At Yumigahama, the sea conditions suit snorkeling as well as canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), so you can enjoy the water year-round. The Tara-i Cape, which juts out to the east, is an excellent lookout offering sweeping coastal views. To the south you can see the Izu Seven Islands, to the east Mt. Tsumekizaki, and to the west the coastline continuing to Cape Irozaki, all of which are points of pride. ◆Aigahama (Rockpool Play) A must-see for those who want to enjoy snorkeling with small children! A short distance east of Yumigahama is a rocky shore.
