Atami Nanayu When you walk around the city, you can discover the steam gushing out from various places on the slopes. It is a source called "Atami Nanayu". It is also recommended to visit the source and experience the long history and hot spring atmosphere. (Commemorative Stamps are installed on each of the seven information boards.) ――[Oyukan Spring] has been a world-famous self-gushing spring for a long time. It is said that the "big hot water" gushed out six times during the day and night, and the ground seemed to shake as hot water and steam alternately erupted violently. It gradually decreased from the middle of the Meiji era and stopped in 1923 (Taisho 12)) (it sometimes erupted again during a major earthquake), but in 1962 (Showa 37), it was preserved as a cultural property of the city and continues to this day. * Currently, hot water is artificially gushed out approximately every 5 minutes, reproducing the appearance of the large hot water gushing of yesteryear. Address: 〒413-0018 Lodging Town, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture Phone number: 0577-86-6232 (Cultural Facilities Office, Lifelong Learning Division, Atami City) Access: About 20 minutes on foot from JR Atami Station / About 20 minutes Use Yu ~ Yu ~ bus from JR Atami Station→ Get off at Oyuma Kosen → about 3 minutes on foot Parking/None ●"Ozawa no Yu" The hot springs in the gardens of Yazaemon Sawaguchi, Bunjiro Fujii, and Sanzaemon Yonekura were called "Heizaemon no Yu", but the local people called it "Ozawa no Yu" because it was located in Ozawa. It is said that, as with "Seizaemon's hot spring", if a person called it in a loud voice, it would spring up a lot, and if a person called it in a small voice, it would spring up small. In this Ozawa hot spring, you can make and eat hot spring eggs with the steam that blows out. Locals also say that it is delicious, and it is a little famous place in Atami. * Renewal completed on July 1, 2023. There are now two steaming kettles and a new bench. Address: 〒413-0013 Ginza-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture (in front of Tenjin Shuten) Phone number: 0557-86-6218 (Atami City Parks and Green Space Division) Access: About 15 minutes on foot from JR Atami Station Parking lot / There are several paid P cars in the vicinity In addition to these two facilities, there are "Bath Bath Bath", "Sajiro no Yu (Eye Bath)", "Seizaemon no Yu", "Nonaka Yu", and "Kawara-yu". * Atami Nanayu is not a bathing facility.

Atami Castle Atami Trick Art Labyrinth Museum Atami Castle towers over the summit of Mt. Nishikigaura, a scenic spot in Atami. The Tenshukaku Observatory, where you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama, is the best viewing point in Atami where you can see not only the city of Atami City, but also Yugawara, the Manazuru Peninsula, Hatsushima and Oshima floating on a clear day, and the Izu Peninsula in the direction of Ajiro and Ito. "Bushido is found in death." Experience the life and death of a samurai in SAMURAI Calligraphy. Samurai calligraphy (calligraphy of resignation) is a calligraphy in which a samurai looks back on his life when he foresees his death and writes his last words on earth with a brush. In the Warring States Period, before the last great battle of the war, the battle of Osaka, SAMURAI foresaw his death, looked back on his life so far, and left one last character on the world's largest calligraphy paper. “武士道とは死ぬこととみつけたり” 侍の生と死のあり方をSAMURAI書道で体験します。 SAMURAI書道(辞世の書)とは、侍が死を予見したときにこれまでの人生を振り返り、この世での最後の文字として筆で書き残すもの。 戦国時代、最後の大戦である大坂の陣という戦を前に、SAMURAIは死を予見して、これまでの人生を振り返り、世界最大の書道紙に最後のひと文字を残しましょう。

Osaka no Jin⚔Before participating in the war, there was an angel at Osaka Castle with a free hug sign hanging from his neck. The samurai refused the angel's hug, not wanting to taint it... and the angel made a sad face. The expression on his face is like watching a loved one die right in front of your eyes. The samurai wanted to protect this purity. However, he could not say anything lightly to the angel whose whole body was crying. The angel said as he wiped away his tears as if he had distilled only trust and goodwill towards others. "Thank you very much for today... but... Samurai-san and I... are not... friends yet." Angel was desperate. ``How can I become your friend?'' He handed me a homemade shuriken origami. His hands were shaking. The samurai had no words to answer, and was unable to look into the angel's eyes... A stifling voice came out of the man's mouth as he remained face down. The samurai was crying. Then, he gently hugged the angel.
