The Hokkaido University Toma Komaki Research Forest, where research on forests is conducted, is a vast forest 🌲 with a total area of 2,715 hectares
Part of the forest is open to the public and is a place of relaxation for Citizens.
The Horonai River, which stream through the forest, is a Clear streams that has been certified as the highest ranking in the Water quality measurement of public Water areas by the Ministry of the Environment.
There is also a cherry blossom grove called "Cherry Blossom Complex".
