And the highlight is… the “Cherry Pit Spitting Contest in Shintoku Town” hosted by Higashine City, Yamagata Prefecture 🍒 ・Date: Sunday, June 15 ・Time: 12:00–14:00 (Registration opens at 11:30) ・Venue: Station Front Event Plaza ・Participants: 200 people (same-day registration, first come, first served) ・Participation prize: 50 g of Sato Nishiki cherries ※ Prizes will be awarded for exceeding a set distance Eat delicious cherries and give your best shot at spitting the pit as far as you can!
