From the summit of Mt. Takao in Hachioji City, you can see "Diamond Fuji" as the sun sinks into the crater of Mt. Fuji, which has been registered as a World Heritage Site, on December 17 (Sat) ~ 25 (Sun), 2022 (around the winter solstice in December every year).

Mt. Takao can be reached in one hour from central Tokyo, and there are cable cars and lifts to the mountainside, so you can easily visit it.
