The 13th Anji-kun Hometown Festival, which colors the summer of Shirataki in Engaru Town, will be held on August 22 (Saturday) and 23 (Sunday)!
At the venue, we have a variety of events planned, including the popular annual attractions such as the "Tractor Pulling Competition" and the "Corn Peeling Contest," as well as "Yosakoi Performances" and fireworks from both inside and outside the town.
Additionally, during this period, the Engaru Town Archaeological Center exhibition room will be open for special viewing, and visitors can enjoy the free exhibition of items excavated from the Shirataki archaeological site, designated as a national treasure.
It's a two-day event filled with the charm of the local area.
