The annual Okhotsk tourism and product exhibition "Okhotsk Fair" will be held for two days on January 24 Wednesday and 25 Thursday at the underground pedestrian space in front of Sapporo Station Kita Sanjo Square West. Engaru Town will also exhibit, providing tourist information, selling products, making obsidian accessories, and exhibiting insects. On Wednesday, January 24th, at 13:00~, and on Thursday, January 25th, at 11:30~stage, there will also be a quiz contest related to the National Treasure "Shirataki Ruins Group Excavated Items"! On Thursday, November 23rd, we held the "Flower Walking Campaign in AEON MALL Asahikawa Nishi". The Flower Tour is a wide-area collaboration in one city and three towns, Engaru Town, Takigami Town, Yubetsu Town, and Monbetsu City, to promote the tour route of flowers and other tourism materials, and this is the third campaign at AEON MALL Asahikawa Nishi. This time, the event was co-sponsored by the "Okhotsk Tourism Federation" and co-sponsored by the "Sounkyo Okhotsk Scenic Byway". On Friday, October 27, at the Shirataki International Center, the "Hokkaido Shirataki Ruins Excavated Products National Treasure Designation Commemorative Ceremony" was held with the invitation of all concerned parties. It is the oldest national treasure in Japan and the second national treasure designated as a national treasure in Hokkaido. Once again, I was proud that the treasures of Japan exist Engaru Town our town.

On Sunday, October 15, we held a sightseeing training tour for the townspeople. It is held every year with the aim of experiencing the tourism resources of the Engaru Town where you live and conveying its magnificence to both inside and outside the town. The main part of this year's tour is to visit the obsidian outcrop "Akaishiyama Hachigosawa Outcrop" in the Shirataki area. This outcrop deep in the mountains snows early, so it was the last visit of the year. The participants were overwhelmed by the dynamic outcrop of Hachigozawa and moved by the beauty of the autumn leaves. I would like to continue the tour to experience the treasures of Engaru Town.
