Yoda Temple is a special head temple of the Shingon sect, which is said to have been opened by Gyoki in Tenpyo 11 (739). It is designated as the Okunoin in 88 places in Shikoku and is visited by about 200,000 worshipers annually. It is very famous as a "temple to prevent evil" and is also a standard spot for the first visit.
